Origami artist John Szinger shows how to fold 12 all original models, from a single square of paper, in his first book "Zing Origami". John has diagrammed models ranging in difficulty from simple to complex that use alternate geometries, one-sixth and one-fifth, and polar or rotational-based symmetries. His innovative models included are Adirondack Canoe, Adirondack Chair, Octopus, Loon, Brown Bear, Butterfly, Hot Air Balloon, Asian Elephant II, Baluchitherium, Lizard, Snapping Turtle, and Fivefold Rose. These models can be folded from a single square, most from a six- or ten-inch sheet. Although they can be made from foil or wet-folded to bring out the sculptural aspects, it isnt necessary. Zing Origami is especially formatted for ereader devices.

This is one of the most beautiful origami’s book I ever bought, the figures are beautiful and well ilustrated. If I have the oportunity to buy another one of the same autor I would do it.

…but this book is done in an undeniably British style. It’s really truly brilliant. The demises of these 26 toddlers are morbidly hysterical, and the art is truly wonderful. I believe my favorite of the demises was the child who "died of ennui". This book is great for anyone with a decidedly macabre sense of humor.

Le 3ieme opus des making of de Jonathan Rinzler, a posséder absolument pour tout ceux qui aime star wars, et le cinéma, un livre qui détail tous les aspects de la fabrication d’un tel film.
EMBALLAGE TRES MAUVAIS: le livre n’est PAS plastifié et il est simplement inclus dans un grand carton avec du papier de bourrage.
– RESULTAT : la double couverture ET la reliure sont abimées et de nombreuses griffes de surface sur la couv.
Je n’essaie même pas de faire un échange vu qu’il sera renvoyé dans les mêmes conditions. Un conseil: ACHETEZ AILLEURS!!
VERY POOR PACKAGING: the book is not protected in plastic wrap and simply placed into a large box with padding papier. As a RESULT: it came with the cover creased and scuffing !!
I don’t even ask for a replacement since they will mostly ship the other one the same way.

A mon sens le meilleur livre à ce jour pour apprendre le quick sketing. Des pages et des pages de modèles pour s’entrainner. Quel dommage qu’il n’en existe pas une version française. Le texte est extrêmement intéressant mais il faut une très bonne pratique de l’anglais…
Le meilleur pour comprendre le Sketching de personnage, Ron Husband a un talent impressionnant pour prendre sur le vive les personnes
L’ouvrage est intéressant et riche. C’est surtout un recueil de croquis et d’idées, sans vraie méthode donc pas totalement adapté à un débutant à ses débuts… Je ne regrette pourtant pas l"achat, quoique un peu cher, l’ouvrage.
